New Year 2023 Welcome Program in Quang Binh

According to information from the Department of Tourism, the 2023 New Year’s Eve Program will have many attractive and unique activities.

Accordingly, the opening of the series of activities to welcome the New Year is an art performance program at Dong Hoi City Walking Street from 20:00 to 22:00 on December 31, 2022 with art performances, vibrant and attractive songs for young people to attract tourists and introduce Dong Hoi City Walking Street to domestic and international tourists. The program is live streamed on digital platforms of Quang Binh Provincial Youth Union, Quang Binh tourism and introduced on media channels.

Many activities to welcome the new year 2023

The program will also include activities to welcome the first tourist group in 2023. Quang Binh on January 1, 2023 at Dong Hoi Airport with lion dances, dragon dances, and performances welcoming the first international tourists at the departure hall of Dong Hoi Airport; a ceremony to welcome the first international tourists to Quang Binh at the foot of the plane stairs; and an exchange program with the first international tourists at the stage area at the departure hall of Dong Hoi Airport.

The program to welcome the first group of visitors to the World Natural Heritage Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park was held on the morning of January 1, 2023 at Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Center and a number of tourist attractions in Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park; organizing street art and culinary activities to serve tourists in Phong Nha Town from December 30, 2022 to December 31, 2022, with the following activities: Organizing traditional art performances and puppetry at fixed times during the day to serve tourists; organizing exchange activities, introducing and guiding Water Puppetry performances for tourists; street art performances reasonably interspersed with Water Puppetry performances; culinary activities at businesses along the central route of Phong Nha Town and street food stalls to serve tourists; Quang Binh tourism culinary competition from 14:00 to 18:00 on December 31, 2022 at Doan Gia Resort, Phong Nha town with about 20 participating units, each unit will demonstrate the preparation of typical dishes of Quang Binh tourism.
