Dark Cave Quang Binh – attractive tourist destination

Dark Cave in Quang Binh is the most mentioned tourist destination in recent years. Chay River Dark Cave belongs to Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. Here, visitors will experience exciting activities such as cave exploration, mud bathing, swimming in dark lakes, kayaking, ziplining in Dark Cave.

Dark Cave was discovered in 1990 by cave experts. Dark Cave is located right on the way to Thien Duong Cave and Nuoc Mooc Stream. However, Dark Cave has only been opened to tourists in recent years.

Dark Cave Quang Binh is an attractive tourist destination.

Dark Cave is 6km long and is considered a “miniature Son Doong”. During the rainy season, the water level rises, creating conditions for the accumulation of young mud, forming a large mud lake with enough essential minerals to help visitors rest and relax.

In 2014, Phong Nha Ke Bang Tourism Center invested in a Zipline system across the Chay River. Together with the natural beauty of the Dark Cave and the Zipline system across the Chay River, the Dark Cave has become an attractive tourist destination for visitors to Quang Binh.

Currently, Quang Binh Dark Cave is organized into 2 different tours. 1 basic tour of mud bath and using services at Song Chay Dark Cave. 1 adventure tour through 6km dark cave.

1. Discovery Tour

– Adults (height over 1.3m, weight from 40-90kg): 450,000 VND/guest

Includes: Zipline through dark cave, explore dark cave and mud bath, Kayak, Zipline river bath, Adventure bridge, basketball, handball and water sports games, Exploration equipment, safety…

– Children: 150,000 VND/person (height from 1m – 1.3m, no zipline, use kayak with parents)

Included: Exploring dark caves and mud baths; exploration equipment, safety…water sports games (not including thrill games).

– Children: 110,000 VND/person (height from 1m-1.3m, only participate in water games, not including thrilling games)

– Children: Free (under 1m tall, only allowed to use children’s swimming pool)

2. General tour (only for people 1.3m or taller, weighing over 40kg and under 90kg): 270,000 VND/person

Included: Zipline through dark cave, kayak, river zipline, adventure bridge, water sports, exploration equipment.
