Quang Tri Museum began construction on February 3, 2000 and officially opened to visitors on May 1, 2008. With more than 10,000 valuable artifacts, the museum has quickly become a famous destination, attracting a large number of domestic and foreign tourists when visiting the sacred land of Quang Tri.

Outdoor exhibition area

This area displays large-sized artifacts from the war against the US such as tanks, planes, artillery, bombs, etc. In addition, visitors can also admire artifacts of the Cham culture in Quang Tri, including statues, reliefs and temple pedestals.

The first floor includes a reception area and rooms introducing natural conditions, natural resources, people and cultures of ethnic groups in Quang Tri.

Khanh Tiet Pavilion: The most solemn pavilion, the center is the vertical “tree of life” symbol, stretching strongly, symbolizing immortal life and the connection between heaven – earth, yin – yang, past – present – future. Behind is a majestic relief depicting “Non Mai Song Han” – the cultural symbol of Quang Tri, with the image of three mountains Ta Linh Son, Mai Linh Son, Linh Son – the cultural space of three ethnic groups Kinh, Bru – Van Kieu and Ta Oi. Thach Han River meanders, flows into the sea, is the dragon vein, the source of Quang Tri culture. Below is the image of a Bronze drum, symbolizing the values ​​of cultural heritage and a new opportunity for the province.

Natural Features and Natural Resources Exhibition Room: Introduces in detail the geographical location, natural features and natural resources of Quang Tri province, helping visitors understand this land better.
