DAY 1: DISCOVER 4500M PHONG NHA CAVE (Lunch, dinner)

Morning: Car and tour guide pick up tourists at Dong Hoi Station. Take the group to have breakfast at the restaurant. Then start the journey to explore Quang Tri for 2 days and 1 night.

8:00: The group departs to Phong Nha Tourist Center’s boat station to join the Phong Nha Cave discovery tour by kayak.

Before departure, tourists will be informed about the Phong Nha 4500m tour program, notes on safety and health. Tourists will also be given specialized equipment such as: sandals, headlamps, helmets, swimming suits…
On the way to the first 2 areas of Phong Nha Cave: the entrance area and the intermediate area, visitors will admire the majestic underground river, the magical shimmering stalactites, and observe life from the entrance area with shrimp, fish, bats… Not far from the cave entrance is the intermediate area. This is the area where artificial lighting is installed. The intermediate area is about 1.2km long and after the last light, the dark area officially appears. This area is not artificially lit. To ensure the safety of the journey, we have installed a few strong ropes for visitors to easily hold on to when moving. After exploring approximately 500m inside the dark area, the kayak or boat will stay behind and on the way visitors will pass rocks, narrow paths and giant stalactites. Visitors will have to slow down when passing the first 100m to admire the majestic stalactites inside
No matter what time of year you go, visitors can still feel the strong winds like winter right in the heart of the cave. However, the special feature that must be mentioned is the strong erosion of water that has created on the cliffs inside the cave a myriad of strange and bizarre shapes that even the most imaginative viewer can think of.

After crossing the first 1km of the dark area, the group will have a happy snack, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere, bringing everyone closer together. Next, they will enter the underground river again, however, this time visitors will have to swim in the cave. The water temperature is very pleasant and the scenery is beautiful. After swimming about 200m, they will reach a sandy beach and from this point visitors will swim and walk on beautiful, soft and velvety sand. From this point, the water flow becomes stronger and the tour guide will connect a rope from one point to another on the river and visitors will cross it.

The strange thing is that at this place, there are places where the cave suddenly seems wider, higher, the light is dim, the space is full of ghostly atmosphere. Maybe because of this, the previous explorer called this place Huyen Khong cave. In this cave section, Xuyen Son Lake is hundreds of square meters wide with deep blue water that really satisfies visitors. The journey to conquer Phong Nha by Kayak is an experience that attracts visitors who love adventure. Dotted like hidden on both sides of the cave wall, in the middle of the lake are stalactites that make Xuyen Son Lake even more strange and mysterious.
After 2 – 4 hours, you will reach a point 4.5km in Phong Nha Cave.
15:30: The group returns to the boat dock. The car and tour guide pick up the group to check in to the hotel in Phong Nha area to rest.
18:00: The car picks up the group for dinner at a restaurant in Phong Nha area

DAY 02: PARADISE CAVE – CHAY RIVER DARK CAVE – DONG HOI (Breakfast, lunch)

Breakfast at the hotel.

9:00: Check out of the hotel and depart to visit Thien Duong Cave.

12:00: Lunch and rest at the restaurant

After lunch, you will come to Song Chay – Hang Toi, experience the 400m long zipline, natural mud bath in the first and only cave in Vietnam along with kayaking, stream bathing and short zipline on Song Chay.

16:00: Car takes you back to the city. Dong Hoi. Take the group to the airport, train station. End of the 2-day-1-night Quang Tri Tour program. Goodbye and see you again!
