The land of Quang Binh carries the salty taste of the sea all year round. It is the hometown where General Võ Nguyên Giáp was born and spent his childhood. He is the elder brother of the Vietnamese People’s Army, quietly admired by friends both domestically and internationally.
Returning to the land of Quang Binh, embark on a spiritual journey with a visit to General Võ Nguyên Giáp’s grave at Vũng Chùa – Yến Island, where you can personally light incense to pay tribute to a great son of the Vietnamese nation. Visitors can also explore Da Nhay Beach and Phong Nha Cave.
In the Quang Binh 1-day tour, visitors will have the opportunity to visit Da Nhay Beach for photo opportunities and explore the Phong Nha – Ke Bang Heritage Site. Journeying upstream on the Son River to Phong Nha Cave, guests can also enjoy the local specialties of Quang Binh.
ITINERARY
08:00 am: NETIN TRAVEL vehicle and guide pick up guests (from Dong Hoi Hotel, Dong Hoi Railway Station, or Dong Hoi Airport). Depart for Vũng Chùa – Yến Island, where General Võ Nguyên Giáp rests in eternal peace. Along the way, guests will stop for photos at the beautiful Da Nhay Beach, famous for its stunning rock formations, a natural gift to Quang Binh. Here, visitors can take photos at Da Nhay Beach.
Arriving at Vũng Chùa – Yến Island, guests can offer incense at General Võ Nguyên Giáp’s grave, take in the scenery of Yến Island and the majestic Dragon Mountain, with its fan-shaped arc encircling the esteemed son of the Vietnamese People’s Army—General Võ Nguyên Giáp, the man who made history with the legendary Dien Bien Phu victory that resounded across continents and shook the world.
After paying respects and offering incense at General Giap’s grave, visitors can stop for photos at Vũng Chùa – Yến Island before departing to explore Phong Nha Cave.
12:00 PM: Lunch at Phong Nha Restaurant (Vung Hue). Afterward, rest at the restaurant.
1:00 PM: Continue to set off for Phong Nha Cave, sitting on a traditional wooden boat, navigating upstream along the Son River for 5 km to visit Phong Nha Cave. Admire the beauty of various chambers: Cung Đình Cave, Tiên Cave, Bi Ký Cave, and more, featuring sparkling stalactites and stalagmites that enhance the enchanting beauty of the water system.
After visiting Phong Nha Cave, guests will return to the Phong Nha boat dock.
4:00 PM: The vehicle and guide from Netin Travel will take the group back to Dong Hoi, concluding the one-day tour of Phong Nha Cave and a visit to General Võ Nguyên Giáp’s grave.
Note: The program may change to visit General Võ Nguyên Giáp’s grave in the afternoon, so that on the way back, guests can swim at Da Nhay Beach.

Visiting Hours
The grave of the General is open from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Dress Code
Attire must be tidy. Both men and women should wear pants that go past the knee, and women should wear respectful clothing.
General Conduct
No loud noise or disturbance.
Do not use the restroom indiscriminately in the monitored area and surroundings.
Do not litter.
No smoking or use of stimulants.
No inappropriate or indecent behavior.

Other items are prohibited except for mobile phones.
All items should be left in the vehicle or stored in the security locker.
No Acceptance of Wreaths or Paper Offerings.
Registering for Incense Offering
When registering to offer incense, a representative from the group or any organization must register at the security desk to be allowed to visit the General's grave.
This is a group tour, therefore

Please adhere to the schedule to avoid affecting other members of the group and the tour itinerary.
Guests should not separate from the group without the guide's permission.
