Con Co Island is located in Quang Tri Province. Con Co Island is about 30km from Cua Viet beach of Quang Tri. Con Co Island has emerged as an attractive destination for Quang Tri Tourism in recent years. With the exploitation of Con Co Island for tourism along with the investment in high-speed trains to the Island, many tourists have come to Quang Tri Tourism. Although not fully equipped as on the mainland, Con Co Island Tourism will bring visitors to the pristine green pearl of the East Sea.
You can immerse yourself in nature, beautiful beaches. You can visit the National Flagpole, Lighthouse, Ben Nghe… Together with the locals living in the homestays of Con Co, or the rest houses of the soldiers living on the island. Tourists can also enjoy many delicious and fresh dishes right on Con Co island.
The 2-day, 1-night Con Co islandTour program is organized by Netin Travel and departs from Quang Binh. Tourists will follow the car and tour guide to Cua Viet beach before departing to the island by speedboat.
During the 2-day-1-night journey, visitors will also visit the underground maze of Vinh Moc tunnels in Quang Tri to learn about the lives of our soldiers and people during the resistance war against the US to save the country.

ITINERARY
DAY 1: DONG HOI – CUA VIET – CON CO ISLAND
5:30: Car and tour guide pick up the group at hotels in Dong Hoi city. Depart to visit Con Co Island, Quang Tri.
7:30: The group arrives at Cua Viet beach, departs on a speedboat!. You have about 90 minutes on a speedboat to the island. Visitors can admire the sea and islands of their homeland during this time.
Arriving at Con Co, the group checks in at Con Co Flagpole. Then visit the Traditional Room. Here, visitors will better understand the many activities of the island as well as the sacrifices and protection of Con Co Island during the war.
11:00: The group checks in to rest and have lunch.
Afternoon: You will explore the Primeval Forest. The road through Con Co forest is a special, extremely beautiful road covered with layers of fossilized coral stones, one of the unique but not rare types of stone on this island.
Conquer the Lighthouse to see the whole view of Con Co Island and the East Sea. From the top of Con Co Lighthouse, visitors can freely admire one of the sacred sea and island areas of the Fatherland.
You will visit the Military Medical Tunnel and the system of trenches, walkways, and bunkers during the war in Con Co!
Continuing the journey, you will visit Ben Nghe, the place to welcome the first rays of sunlight on the island, listen to the legend of the square Banyan tree, the Con Co Stone Crab… Ben Nghe is the landing place for those who crossed the sea every night to supply the island during the war, this is also an interesting destination when visitors set foot on the island…
You are free to swim, snorkel to see coral at Ben Tranh.
Evening: You are free to fish, rent a boat to catch squid, stone crabs, seaweed… and enjoy a BBQ party on the beach with the spoils of war!
DAY 2: CON CO – QUANG TRI – VINH MOC TUNNEL – QUANG BINH
Morning: Get up early, watch the sunrise on Con Co Island, freely walk around, learn about the lives of the people and soldiers here!
8:00: Get on the boat, return to the mainland. Before boarding the boat, visitors can buy some Con Co specialties as gifts for relatives such as seafood, Con Co herbal tea.
Arriving at Cua Viet Port, the car and tour guide will pick up the group to visit Vinh Moc Tunnels. Vinh Moc Tunnels symbolize the indomitable will of our ancestors, refusing to retreat before the invaders. Here, the group will experience the underground life of the cadres and people of Quang Tri during the war years.
11:30: Lunch at Bau Sen
After lunch, the group will depart for Dong Hoi.
The tour guide will say goodbye to the group, ending the 2-day, 1-night Con Co Island tour program.
