Truong Son Martyrs Cemetery is located on Ben Tat Hill. This location is right next to Highway 15, Gio Linh District, Quang Tri Province. From here, it is only about 40km from the city center, going northwest. And it will also be about 20km from Highway 1A.
Construction process

To achieve the completion and neatness as today, the cemetery has gone through many constructions and renovations. Specifically, the cemetery was officially built on October 24, 1975. Then completed on April 10, 1977. This is considered the largest martyrs cemetery in Vietnam. On May 19, 1999, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the founding of the Truong Son Corps. The Government decided to renovate and upgrade the martyrs’ area.
According to statistics, the cemetery area reaches 140,000 m2. It is divided into many areas. Including grave land, monument land. In addition, there is land for planting trees for shade, lake land, campus roads,… That is the reason why when coming to burn incense, visitors can feel the peace, freshness and coolness.
